Homework
Your child will be required to read daily. Remember your child can read to you, with your or sometimes if might be you reading to your child and then the same words read back to you by your child. New York State Requires that each student reads a minimum of 25 books each year. Your child will be keeping a log of the books he or she reads this year.
Your child will also have weekly assignments from our Everyday Math Program. Please look for these assignments and their due dates. All of the assignments reinforce the skills that were taught to your child in school.
There will also be projects throughout the year. I will send home detailed instructions for each project and give ample time for it to be completed.
Consequences of Incomplete Homework:
